Premature Ejaculation Treatment (Medical & Behavioural)
Improving ejaculatory control with behavioural techniques and medical approaches.
Premature ejaculation treatment is planned by individually combining behavioural techniques, medical approaches and, in selected cases, procedural methods.
Premature ejaculation responds well to treatment in most cases. Behavioural techniques (stop-start, squeeze, etc.) aim to improve ejaculatory control; medical approaches are added on the physician's advice in suitable cases. If erectile dysfunction coexists, both are addressed together.
Who Is It For?
- People with persistent difficulty controlling ejaculation
- Patients distressed and whose relationship is affected
- Cases with coexisting erectile dysfunction
How Is It Performed?
After assessment, a suitable behavioural and/or medical plan is created. When needed, procedural options are evaluated separately.
Recovery & Follow-up
Regular practice is important in behavioural methods; response varies and the plan may be updated with follow-up.
